Can Ontario Walk In Clinics Prescribe Birth Control Birth Control Pill?

Birth control pill? - can ontario walk in clinics prescribe birth control

My girlfriend wants to go with BCP. We live in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada, and hope for a walk in the clinic with a gynecologist and a specialist in women on the site go. Do you think it will require a change of any kind? Or it may only impose BCP? It is perfectly healthy, not smoking, not sexually transmitted diseases. We have no money for a test and can not trust the insurance (because my parents have health insurance). What should we do? What can we expect?
Moreover, what is BCP?

That is absolutely false. Most Planned Parenthood clinics, to impose control of hormonal contraceptives without review. The program is called HOPE (Hormonal) options without a gynecological examination. Other doctors may not require the test - only to the doctor.

Neither the Food and Drug Administration of the United States, who believe World Health Organization, Family Planning Association and the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists that a pelvic exam or Pap test for hormonal contraception should be necessary. According to WHO, a pelvic exam for contraceptives, a class C. In other words, not a significant contribution to safe and effective contraception. "

To the OP: Could you go to Toronto? They have a lot more options for birth control nurses. There are family planning in Toronto. There is also a free clinic with no hurry. Both offer birth control at reduced prices.

Massachusetts is the planned parenthood clinics offer pills $ 27 per month or less depending on the situation of girls. I would also say that you give it to you without an examination, but I think it may mean that you now give, but finally have one.

In the U.S., you must pass an exam before the doctor can prescribe. A clinical condition of anonymity. You should be able to go a site as a OrthoTri-cylen.com and details of what to expect there. This is a brand of birth control pills are (I am) it.

Here in the states, not sure about $ 30, I think. I do not know if my insurance, I have a copay of $ 10.
